Always an advocate for community events, one of his favorite milestones was creating Flatbar Fridays in the Moonlight Beach parking lot of Encinitas, CA. His vision was to have a place for kids to go and skate after school. At first starting as a small event, Flatbar Fridays eventually grew into a beloved weekly event for North County San Diego.
During his run on Built to Shred, Jeff’s creativity was highlighted throughout the series with innovative shoots such as bringing snow to his home in San Diego and building a park for snowboards in his front yard to using Camp Pendleton’s airplane graveyard as a skate and BMX paradise. One of his favorite shoots was when he turned an Ipad into a skateboard for pro skater Chad Knight. Another highlight of the series was working with Daewon Song on the Raging Water Shoot where a group of skaters got full access to an empty Raging Waters.
Jeff’s most recent projects include working with Tony Hawk on his latest Mini Cooper commercial and working on the 2015 Point Break movie as a skate consultant, builder, and cameo actor.
